Tamás Hajas Zoltán
research assistant
Department of Nuclear Techniques
Introduction
Tamás started his Energy Engineering BSc studies in 2014 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2020 he acquired an MSc degree in Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences with nuclear techniques major. He is currently a PhD student in our institute and studies at the Doctoral School of Physics of BME. His wider field of research is the performance of deterministic and stochastic simulations, and in a narrower sense, the stability and convergence analysis of the coupling of time-dependent Monte Carlo neutron transport codes and thermal-hydraulics codes. In addition to his research, he is also interested in nuclear medicine imaging.
